Faith In Motion is urgently reaching out on behalf of a Venezuelan family of six who recently arrived in the United States seeking asylum. They are currently staying at Marta’s Village and Kitchen in Indio, but unfortunately, they arrived with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
As the family is still waiting to receive their work permits and Social Security cards, they are facing significant challenges in meeting their basic needs, especially with the colder weather approaching. Your support can make a significant difference in their lives during this critical time.

The specific items needed include:
For the children:
- 3 car booster seats (for three children)
- Winter jackets for each child in the following sizes:
- 3T (boy)
- 4T (girl)
- 6 (boy)
- 8 (girl)
- Boots for the children (to keep them warm during the cold weather):
- Size 8 (for 3-year-old boy)
- Size 9 (for 4-year-old girl)
- Size 10 (for 6-year-old boy)
- Size 12 (for 8-year-old girl)
For the parents:
- Warm winter boots or work boots
- Jackets for the parents (for cold weather)
- Mother’s size: Small jacket, shoe size 7.5
- Father’s size: Large jacket, shoe size 9.5
